Build in 1979, Abravanel Hall is one of Salt Lake County’s core locations for art and culture in Utah. The hall seats 2,811 patrons for a variety of events including, classical and contemporary symphonies, tours of famous musicians and comedians, and even political events. It is home to the Utah Symphony.

Since 1978, Protective Services has provided a law enforcement presence for the hall. Our officers provide a friendly, but confident, deterrence to criminal behavior inside and out of the complex. We respond to, and assist, performance accidents, patrons/staff medical emergencies at the hall, offer immediate medical care, and ensure EMS teams are quickly dispatched and coordinated. In addition, we assist patrons and staff in any criminal investigations needed.
