Jail Programs
The Law Enforcement, Corrections, and Civilian employees of the Programs Division provide education, treatment, and vocational training to qualified, non-violent prisoners. We work cooperatively with community partners to facilitate reintegration and reduce recidivism while increasing community safety within Salt Lake County and reducing the expense of incarceration.
Programs are funded from the proceeds of prisoner commissary purchases.
