Child Identification Cards
The Child ID program administered at Copperton Town Days on August 23rd, 2008 was a great success! The event's coordinators regularly advertised the program throughout the day making everyone aware of this valuable, no cost service. As a result of their efforts, approximately 65 children participated in the project making for a very busy day. If you missed the chance to have your children take part in this event, it is not too late; you can schedule an individual time for your child to come into the Southwest Precinct office (during regular business hours) to have their own ID card made by calling 302.2080.
In addition to the child ID cards, informational material on crime prevention was handed out. A deputy was also on hand to answer various law enforcement questions that people posed. Thanks to all who stopped by the booth making this one of the most successful fingerprints events of the year.
