Fingerprinting Services
Many individuals are required to be fingerprinted due to requests by employers, applications for adoption, concealed weapons permits, expungments, or for other purposes. The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office provides fingerprinting services to the public.
There is no restriction on who we fingerprint with the exception of services for the I.N.S.. For those individuals, fingerprinting services are provided by Immigration.
Fingerprinting Information:
- Hours for fingerprinting are 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Please call in advance to confirm someone is available to take your fingerprints.
- We are not open on holidays.
- Picture I.D. is required to enter the building and for fingerprinting services.
- There is a $5.00 fee per card.
- We accept cash or check only.
