Sheriff's Office Seeks Assistance In Robbery Case
The robbery occurred at 9:45 a.m. (Monday) at the Wells Fargo Bank in Magna (8295 W 3500 S). The suspect passed a note to the teller. The note declared that this was a robbery, that the suspect had a gun, and that he wanted all of the money. The teller complied with the threat and demand. The suspect placed the money in a bag he brought into the bank. The suspect fled on foot into the neighborhood north and east of the bank.
No gun was seen. The suspect description (not evident in the photos) is: 5’7” to 6’00” with a slender build. People with information can call Detective Mike Smith at
