Sheriff's Office Seeks Assistance
This type of situation is of great concern to the Sheriff’s Office, as well as all law enforcement agencies. We are worried that Adam Lindquist may have committed other crimes while impersonating a deputy sheriff. If you recognize his photo and have had any contact with him where he represented himself as a deputy, please call us at 801-743-7000.
Whenever you encounter someone who tells you they are a police officer and you doubt them for any reason, do the following: ask the person for a photo I.D. card showing for which police department they work, and/or request that they have a supervisor respond to verify that they work for that agency. If you are driving in your car and an unmarked car with emergency lights signals you to pull over, stop in a well-lighted area where you can be seen by other people. If you have additional question about what you should or shouldn’t do, please call the Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Officer at 801-468-2204
